Lived here years ago and we are back! Lovely area and the office ladies are a delight! The move in was super simple. The gated doors make you feel safe and being next to the highways makes life really easy to get to work!

I am approaching one year at Kinstead and have loved every minute of it. Staff is responsive. All my maintenance requests have been completed within 24 hours. The gym is well equipped with both machines and free weights. Monthly resident events provide free food or activities. The buildings are very modern. The smart home hub allows control of door locks and thermostat though an app or voice commands. All of the furnishings are wonderful, including lights built into the bathroom mirror, lights under the kitchen cabinets, and the stainless steel appliances. The only complaint I have is the insulation. The living room, which is by my balcony, is colder than the rest of the unit. That said, the utility cost is reasonable with the heat turned up. I would highly recommend Kinstead to anyone looking for a nice place to live in McKinney!

Kinstead is a very nice apartment complex with nice amenities and a great location. Fellow residents are nice and friendly. You'll feel comfortable around the other residents. Staff are friendly and helpful with a great response time. They have events for the residents at least once a month which is a good time to meet others. I highly recommend Kinstead.

I’ve been living here for a while, and overall, it’s a decent place to live. The apartments themselves are nice, maintenance responds in a reasonable time, and the community has potential. However, there are some ongoing issues that management needs to address. Despite being advertised as a smoke-free community, the hallways often smell like weed, which is frustrating. Some residents also leave trash out on non-pickup days, making the halls look messy. Additionally, not everyone picks up after their dogs, which can be a nuisance. Parking is also nonexistent, so if you have a car, be prepared for a challenge. If management can enforce the rules better, this would easily be a five-star community.

Good customer service , everything fast when we asked for help. Nice pool area. Would refer a friend if they need a place to stay. However, the person next to my bed room so loud every night. I tried to talk to the office but nothing help. He playing game every night. Some time yelling very loud. This is my first time live in an apartment, so I guess this is what it suppose to happen when you live in apartment. That the only thing bother me but overall is good to live here.

I moved into the Kinstead about 3 weeks ago, and I’m absolutely loving it! Autumn in the leasing office is absolutely wonderful. She’s super sweet and made the entire process a breeze. My home was clean and make ready upon move-in, maintenance and pest control is on top of their game, and valet does well too. The community is surprisingly very quiet, despite being directly off of 121. My home is beautiful and worth every penny. Thank you management + leasing consultants for taking care of your property + residents. :)

The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness and condition of my unit upon moving in. It’s the first time in 6 years that I didn’t have to do serious cleaning myself before moving my belongings in.

Would give 5 stars but I’ve mentioned the dog that barks all day long on Balcony and in apartment above me so it’s hard to sleep and it wakes everyone up on our side of building 3 can even sleep in. Wish the opener would be a better dog parent we’ve all tried to figure out who it is on my floor

I love the community. There is some noise issues on the first floor with squeaking side doors and the fact that they close so heavy! Maintenance is great, the staff on the office is amazing and most of the amenities here are great! They could do with fixing the sad water pressure at the dog wash station and fixing the water bowl at the dog park that has not worked since I got here last year!

I've been living here for three months now, and overall it's been pretty good. Some days it feels like a frat house, while others are peaceful—so finding a balance is key. The hallway and breezeway can be gross at times, with occasional bad smells, but then it clears up—again, it’s all about that happy medium. One thing I do appreciate is that I can't hear my next-door neighbor, which is great. Occasionally, you'll hear a dog barking or someone hammering something into the wall, but it's not a constant issue. Sometimes, people let doors slam at odd hours, but it's nothing too extreme. Once you're inside your apartment, everything is modern and cute, and maintenance has been on top of things.

My resident experience has been amazing! I just moved in last week and I have been nothing but excited since move in day! The apartment was clean and ready to live in. I enjoy it here very much. No one bothers anyone, yet there’s a level of respect as you do see your neighbors. You can tell this community mimics the saying “ you get what you pay for!” Staff and the awesome maintenance team is A1. I’m glad the leasing office staff takes cares of concerns as requested and keeps us informed.

I love my apartment and its location, but the stairwell is unpleasant, with spider webs everywhere and a bad smell. Parking is limited to my side of the building. Despite these issues, I overall enjoy living here and recommend it.

Everything is great here! Would be 5 stars if they had an elevator and also the way my walk in closet is set up is not great at all. The door swings open on the inside, making half of my closet unusable. Other than that I love my unit and the amenities! The staff is also very helpful & sweet! I will say every time I use my washer & dryer or my downstairs neighbor uses it, my WHOLE apartment shakes extremely bad- causing my decor to constantly fall off my coffee table & tv console. I had maintenance check it to see if it was unbalanced but it wasn’t so I guess the apartments were built a little thin. 😳

4/5⭐️ going into 8/13 months of our lease! Everyone is great, very nice and approachable. The community is clean (minus very few lazy people leaving their garbage wherever they choose, I hope they see this and realize I’m talking to them…), extremely safe, and the speed of service from maintenance is incredible! My one and only complaint thus far is the cheap appliances, specifically the dishwasher. We pay just under $2000/month and for us, that’s a lot of money. For that price, I shouldn’t have to wash my dishes by hand because my dishwasher doesn’t clean properly. If it’s so cheap, please replace it. A work order has been placed and completed with no luck of getting it back to how it was when I very first moved in. Unsure if there’s any other repairs needed to be done, but I don’t want to be a bother. Other than that, 4⭐️ and a happy tenant.

The community is so welcoming and user-friendly environment and the rental office staff is so professional , helpful and friendly they go out of their way to help get the best of the service. Living here has been great! Honestly about 10 months in and I’m highly reconsidering renewing my lease. There are no bug issues, maintenance is very responsive, gym and amenities are great, staff is great. Even my neighbors are great. 9/10 and the only reason there’s a 9 is because I wish they had an elevator when I’m bringing in groceries from Sam’s club😂.

For the first night it was real peaceful and quiet, I think I’m going to love staying here . It’s just the no elevators that’s killing me … I think if it was elevators in the building it would be easier for people to move in and also way more accessible for handicapped guest .

The complex makes sure all needs to keep the community clean, and safe is priority here. I like the place, is quiet and common areas well maintained, the leasing office team are responsive and did a great job during my leasing process, BUT the only complaint it’s that my unit wasn’t move in ready in my opinion, all the kitchen cabinets and closet was covered in dust and stained as my previous experience with other properties this has been the poorest in terms of cleaning no deep cleaning at all!

I have found my apartment to be very quiet. The landscaping is maintained very well on the property. The equipment in the yoga room seems to be out of order quite frequently, so that has been disappointing. Lastly, I feel there should be at least a freight elevator in the buildings to assist with moving in/out.

Apartments are very good and easy access to SRT (SH 121) and US 75. Very close to Walmart, Indian Grocery stores, Hospitals. Comes under Allen ISD and with excellent school ratings. Highly recommended.

The apartment complex is always clean and clear from clutter in the common areas. The package concierge is very handy as well. The dog bath area next to the package room does tend to stink and sometimes the pool crowd can be a bit loud late at night but it’s not too horrible.

As a recent new resident, I give the property and my experience 5 stars. I didn’t have the opportunity to tour my apartment before move-in, but the surprise was everything I wanted. My unit is spacious, clean, open concept, and makes you feel at home. The energy is inviting and it’s easy to make any night intimate with its amazing light fixtures! Windows need weather and sound proofed. Noise from other residents can be heard from out in the hallway and the opening and shutting of the outside gate. The stairwells are filthy and the stairs haven’t been cleaned in almost three years.

Absolutely loving living here! Things are taken care of as soon as I report them! I’ve only had tiny little issues (like 2!) but they were handled immediately! The overall experience Is ok 3/5z the stairwells are dingy and smelly making for a very uncomfortable walk up to the apartment and the noise is something that’s always an issue. Outside my door and outside the community with dogs barking for long long periods. I’m not a fan of the car port install seeing it as a money grab. Hoping to see more community events centered around building a community!

Once upon a time I was happy at Kinstead but not anymore. Best wishes to those of you who enjoy a great experience here. I cannot wait until my lease expires. Until then I pray for my safety, friendly neighbors, and fewer encounters with aggressive dogs and no more rate hikes for a place with no elevators, ongoing changes to increase rent, and added opportunity to tow our vehicles.

I love my apartment. What I don't like is how unclean my neighbors are. There is always some food of some sort dropped in the staircase or leaving leaking trash out. I wish there was away to hold everyone accountable my self included.

I hate having to rate 3 stars because I truly love living at Kinstead and have been here over 2 years. I've made several maintenance requests regarding the cleaning of hallways and stairs and the bare minimum is done. Specifically in building 2 it's disgusting and I've had guests even comment on how dirty it is. It's embarrassing and I don't understand why it's not a priority over the pool parties, the occasional Saturday morning breakfast, or even a game night. My requests don't even get acknowledged when I have done this several times because it definitely is an issue.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, all of the neighbors are super friendly. Anytime we have had an issue maintenance was sent out the same day to fix the issue (all of the issues have been minor but were treated with importance). I absolutely love living here!

Good day, Thus far it has been pleasant. I'm do have concerns like people not picking up after their dogs. When garbage is picked up sometimes trash is left in the hallway. I've picked up trash a few times and disposed of it. Tenant opposite me had leaking trash bag. Their leaking item created a stream to my front door. I knocked in their door to let them know. No one answered. Some of the doors within the stairwells don't close and lock securely. Security and safety is important to me. Still have a few maintenance issues to address. Sometimes trash is left in the stairwells.

We’ve been here 8 months and still love the apartment and the area. Currently enjoying the flowers blooming in the trees all around the property, they fill the air with a light but refreshing fragrance and it’s a really nice part of walking the dogs in the morning. I love the atmosphere here at Kinstead. It seems safe and people appear too friendly even though I do not know anyone. I have been troubled lately by the increase of dog poop on the lawn and trash in the parking lot and lawn. I hope that it gets better now that the weather is warming up and people are less restricted by the cold air and more willing to clean up after their pets and themselves now that the weather is warming up.

The staff is always on point with there events and updating resident's with anything going on that we need to know. The only con is the people who live on the 2nd and 3rd floor won't stop sweeping there balcony dust and derbies onto our balcony but if that's the only con we have it pretty good

Your neighbors truly make or break your stay as with any place; I just wish Kinstead would be more picky with who they let move in here since it is such a high end apartment. You really get what you’re paying for, just make sure you visit on a weekend to test out the neighbor situation. Kinstead is always quick to respond to issues and help in any way they can. The staff has been friendly, the property is kept clean, and neighbors are friendly and respectful of each other. The unit was well cleaned prior to move in and work orders have been filled in a timely fashion. The only areas for improvements I can think of would be a few more dog waste stations across the property to make dog walks more convenient. And one of the kitchen drawers is problematic, which seems to be a result of a mistake during the oven or counter top installation. It’s annoying but probably not too difficult to fix once we get around to putting in a work order for it. Overall best apartment we have ever lived in. We look forward to being here many years, potentially upgrading to a 3 bedroom!

I have mixed feelings honestly... I luv the apartment.. I don't care for the no elevators.. and that workers are allowed to just come in to your apartment. And the fact we pay all much money and can't have a cigarette on our private balcony.. especially when the guy across the pool smokes out there all the time. We have been here for over a year and LOVE the new management team! Neighbors are friendly and everyone is pretty good at picking up after their pets which keeps the community clean:) We love the management team! They do cool stuff every so often like delicious breakfast waffles down at the office and my favorite was the complimentary gourmet pop cycles served by the pool. We love the gym here too! Tia is a great manager and worked with us when we needed help figuring out a renewal lease while we are are in the process of buying a new home. Misty has also been a great addition to the Kinstead team. She is always so friendly and really goes above and beyond, consistently came though making sure we are takin care of as residents of Kinstead! This is a great place to call home which is hard to find with most other aparments....

The community itself is surprisingly quiet and very well maintained. The hallways are clean, maintenance is speedy with fixes, and I rarely, if ever hear anything from my neighbors when I am in my apartment The interior of the apartments are very well thought out. Every time I bring a friend into my apartment for the first time they go crazy with complements about the finishes and overall vibe of the apartment. Regarding the staff, I've worked mostly with The lady who is full of energy and I don’t know her name , and she has been as efficient as they come. I haven't had to wait more than a day to get a question answered or have an issue resolved. she has been nothing but professional as my primary point of contact . The Assistant manager is not my favorite person hence the 4 stars she needs to work on her connection with others and non verbal communication I prefer not to speak and or deal with the community treasurer But out side of her Tia and her staff are GREAT

I love Kinstead and the wonderful ladies that keep it together so well in the office! The maintenance team is amazing as well. The amenities are great and my son and I feel right at home here!

Well built modern apartments with great functionality to its amenities. Pools and gym are beautiful!! The apartment holds resident events and activities which is a plus; if only there was a playground but that’s not a set back,there are multiple parks very close by. Am a happy camper.

This complex is such an enjoyable stay. The staff is always helpful when I need to visit the leasing office. The maintenance team is also super quick when responding to a request. I highly recommend it!

My experience with Kinstead has been amazing staff is so friendly and helpful. The community has been outstanding, neighbors always seem friendly and eager to help. When we first moved in our friendly neighbor volunteered to help us with our huge sectional up the stairs he was sent from God . This Kinstead community is really a family friendly environment and we appreciate that so much.

Great apartments with the best amenities! The neighborhood is safe and perfect for walking. Very up to date apartments that resemble townhomes. Very happy to be here and just renewed my lease!

Really enjoy living here! What a clean community and has all the upgraded amenities that your heart desires! Love the safe, the maintenance team, front office and leasing team as they are always a pleasure to talk to and take care of all your needs. I am so happy we decided to make this out frost home in McKinney that allows us to really get to know the area and all it has to offer!

Since the day I came to the front office to apply for an apartment at Kinstead I’ve received outstanding service from everyone that works here! Living here has me excited to come home every night! The amenities and facilities are always kept together and looks fantastic! I love the view on my balcony at night (except for a week or two the lights in the pool at night haven’t been on) but when they are on the view is a sight to see!

We just moved here from Colorado and worked with Misti. She is literally one of the many reasons why we chose the Kinstead. Her friendliness, kindness and communication was so appreciated. Misti made us feel like we were apart of her family and we hadn’t even met in person yet. We were looking for an apartment that was going to make us feel like a community and Misti is just that! Thank you Misti we look forward to seeing your lovely, spunky personality at the office! You can tell when a person and an apartment cares about you as a human rather than a dollar sign. As a resident that been living here at Kinstead for almost two years my experience has been great. The new management team is doing a terrific job working around the clock to ensure everything is tact and also they provide the best service. However we are satisfied thus far with the decision making for moving here to Kindstead and will definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a great place to live Kindstead is it.

My apartment is so beautiful; great vibe, staff and all the amenities you “think” you’ll need. Parking for building 1 can be a little tight. The only reason, I can’t give a 5 is because I have had them spray x2 for roaches. I understand it’s apartment living, but NEVER had that problem in any place I’ve ever lived. So, take care of the pests and it’s a 5 all the way.

Where do I start? Firstly, Kinstead is absolutely one of the most beautiful apartment communities I’ve ever seen!! I knew I had to live there the moment I walked into the model home. Applied the very next day and the following day was approved and I couldn’t be happier with this decision! Just signed my lease and I can honestly say that this is one of the most efficient rental processes I’ve ever experienced! Alyssa was phenomenal and timely! She communicated thoroughly and I cannot to move into my new home!!!!
